Просмотрел док дримверка, очень круто, понравилось дефомация волумов, даже не подозревал о сущесвовании такой фичи. Я так понял, что OpenVDB - это подобие alembic/crate, только экспортит, импортит все хозяин возжелает. В общем очень полезная экспортилка. Хотолось бы потестить, но не знаком с гудини флюидами, только с фьюмом.

Hi all,
sorry for speaking english, but mu Russian is not that good.
Mr.Core, i tried your plugin, and I got some errors.
First, when I connect VDB workgroup, and when I start Softimage I got this warrning and error:
' WARNING : 3000 - Operator database invalid: VDB_SetValueAtCoordinate
' ERROR : 2377 - This group ID is not unique:
' <Node: VDB_SetValueAtCoordinate>
' <Group ID: 100>
'

Nevermind that warning, I can import vdb files to Softimage, but I can't render it. Error that I get when I try to render is:
' WARNING : [arnold] node "VDBVolumeShaderSimple_ai" is not installed
' ERROR : [sitoa]: Unable to load VDBVolumeShaderSimple_ai from the Arnold plugins (first occurrence: Sources.Materials.DefaultLib.Material.VDBVolumeShaderSimple_ai)

Can you tell me how can I manage your plugin to work/render?
By the way, I did everything by your tutorial that you post on vimeo, but, somehow I can't render it. Is it related to sitoa/arnold version?

Doca, so if you able to run icenodes vdb then your problem can be either you dont have the tbb42.dll in the sitoa plugin dir or you are using sitoa 2.10 since the last vdb connector version in the first page of this topic was builded against arnold 4.1.3.0 and sitoa 3.0 rc. Can you chck this out? Also, you have to install vs2012 redistributable, but if the icenodes toolkit works ok most likely you already have this installed

Everything is as you told that it has to be. I believe that the problem is that my rig is Softimage 2014 SP2 + Sitoa 3.0rc. Is it possible that shader is looking for Softimage 2013 path?

can you try to launch VDBsolumesimple_mi which is for mental ray ?
Also, try next:
-unistall addon -> sitoa 3.0
-delete every ( 2.10 and 3.0 i guess ) sitoa folders from C:\users\username\Autodesk\Softimage_2014_SP2\Addons
-reload xsi and install sitoa 3.0 again, so that will be pure installation and then extract the vdb shaders into the
C:\users\username\Autodesk\Softimage_2014_SP2\Addons\SItoA\Application\Plugins\bin\nt-x86-64
